Seattle, WA, USA, William (Hank) Henry HOUGHTON May 15, 1925 ~ January 28, 2012 Hank passed away on January 28th in his home surrounded by his family. Hank was born in Seattle, WA to the late Frederick and Mary Houghton. Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Mary Julia Houghton and his brother Fred. He is survived by his sons William "Billy", Randall (Janis) and his daughter Kimberly (Rick) Wahlbrink, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and his loving companion Emy Bogus. Special thanks to his compassionate caregiver Nelson Kwambai. Hank was an avid golfer, golfing at more than 100 courses around the country. He enjoyed traveling to Palm Desert and Phoenix, AZ and gambling at local casinos. A Celebration of Hank's Life will be held @ Bleitz Funeral Home, 316 Florentia Street, Seattle, WA, on Friday, February 17th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Hospice of Seattle, 425 Pontius Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109. Published in The Seattle Times on February 12, 2012³

Biography

Sabra the seventh and youngest child of Dr. Elkanah Billings and his wife Joanna Rogers was born at the residence of her father on the farm near Brockville on the 3^rd day of January 1797. She is now (March 1887) living in Brockville in the 91^st year of her age. She has never been a very robust woman but she has used the blessings, which a kind Providence has bestowed upon her through life without abusing them, moderate in her desires and thoroughly imbued with true Christian principles. She has spent her days in the full enjoyment of that peace of mind which has made per pathway through life a pleasant and happy prelude to the unspeakable joys which await her in the mansions above. She was married on the fourth day of February 1820 to Luther Houghton.

Methodist on 4 April 1881. Sabra Billings died on 12 August 1887 at age 90. She was buried at Brockville Old Protestant Cemetery, Brockville, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada.
