Reno, NV, USA, Irene A. Bedard Despres FALLON - Irene A. Bedard Despres. 56, died Wednesday at Churchill Regional Medical Center. A native of Salem, Mass., she was born July 26. 1933, and had been Fallon resident for the past year, coming from Lynn, Mass. Mrs. Despres was a retired medical secretary, and past president of the Franco-American War Veterans of Lynn, Mass. Surviving are her husband, Gerald, brother, Lucien Bedard, and sisters, Lucille Melanson, Rita D'Entremont, and Muriel Kennedy, all of Fallon; sons, Arthur, Thomas, John, and Michael Richard, daughters, Debra and Julie Richard, Louise Orfanos, and Nancy Lynch, brothers, Roland and Louis Bedard, and sisters, Rena Bastarache and Bertha Sweeney, all of Lynn; brother, Henry Bedard of Pea-body, Mass; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Private burial will be held at a later date, under the direction of Austin, Matson and Smith Funeral Home. A memorial is being established with the Heart Association, 880 Stain Road, Fallon 89406.
