Medical Information: Secondary to senility was a contributory cause.
Occupation: Dressmaker. She had 12 brothers and sisters. In the 1875 Census, it shows my Great Grandmother married to Andrew J. Daniels with two children, Bertha, age 2 and Earl age 1.Also my Great,Great Grandfather, Joshua Daniels,age 80 and a Jane P. Daniel, age 86 living there also. My Great Grandmother's brother William, age 22, was also living there. My Grandmother was very good at making braided rugs, teaching her daughter Bertha and her Grand daughters Dorothy and Rachel. She was also reported to be an excellent cook. My Mother said she made shirts, pants and suits.She could sew a very fine straight stich by hand.¹

Aubrey: Eliza was a school teacher in diffrent schools in Essex Co., New York. Eliza was courted by Grace and Mary's Newell's father, who asked her to marry him. ahe told Eliza, "The Lord told him to marry her", Eliza said, "Well the Lord hasn't told me to marry you, ". Even though Eliza never told this, her brother, John Wellman, was hiding in the bushes and thought this was worth telling.¹
