BiographyNAUVOO INDEPENDENT - December 29, 1906 - Mrs. Robert Trickett of Keokuk and her sisiter Mrs. Ballenger of Montrose arrived in this city Wednesday and will visit their parents and other relatives in Sonora."

Nauvoo Independent - Jan.21, 1932 - "Obituary of Mrs. Nellie Trickett - Mrs. Robert Trickett died at her home, 1009 Leighton Avenue, Keokuk, Iowa, Wednesday evening, Jan. 13, 1932, at 9:15 o'clock after having been confined to her bed for ten weeks.

Mrs. Trickett was formerly Miss Nellie Hamma of Sonora Township. She was born in that township on January 24, 1875, the daughter of Christian and Malissa Houghton Hamma.

On April 3, 1895, she was united in marriage with Robert E. Trickett who survives her. One child was born to this union, but preceded her in death. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Trickett resided in thids vicinity for about ten years and then went to Minneapolis, Minn., where they resided until 1924 when they moved to Keokuk.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving her besides her husband are four brothers and three sisters: David Hamma and Henry Hamma, both of Sonora; Wm J. Hamma, of Montebello; Frank Hamma of Davenport, Iowa; Mrs. Elizabeth Noles of Montrose; Mrs. Sarah Ballinger of Rock Island, Ill; and Mrs. Amy Cosby of Keokuk.

Mrs Trickett had many friends in this vicinity who were greatly greived to hear of her death.

Funeral services for the deceased were held from the Golden Point Church south of Nauvoo Friday at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Geo. H. Ramsey officiating. The pallbearers were John Schilson, Herman Hamburg, Grant Kellog, Fred Baxter, Henry Summers, and John Reed. Music was furnished by Miss Iva Peters, accompanied by Mrs. Lee Mekemson. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery."2
