Joseph A. Houghton
A life-long resident of Jefferson County and former employee of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company,
Joseph Arthur Houghton, passed away last Sunday, Jan. 5.
Funeral services for the deceased were conducted Wednesday afternoon in a chapel at Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus, with interment following in Rcselawn Memorial Garden, Crystal City.
Houghton was retired from the local glass plant after serving as a draftsman with that company for a number of years.
He was born at Crystal City July 17, 1888, a son of the late Peter and Martha Houghton.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Houghton (nee Rowe), and three brothers, Bransby of Festus, Edgar of St. Louis, and Reginald Houghton, state of Arkansas.
