There is a special published booklet about Richard Trumbull Houghton purchased at an estate sale in 2019 by husband of Madeline O'Neal of Bristow, Virginia. The tiny booklet was published in 1847 by the MA Sabbath School Society and is titled A Sketch of Richard Trumbull Houghton. It seems to be in memory of him and is about this boy's impending death and his undeniable relationship with God and his knowledge that he would be in Heaven soon. The boy passed away at age 11 in 1846 and was the son of Richardson Houghton, Jr.
