EAST LEROY—Euler G. Hough- ion. 75. died ai 7:20 p. m. Wcdnes- ; day in his home here after a three- week illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Houghton and was born in Webster March 13. 1867. He hod spent nearly all his life in this vicinity. Surviving are the widow, Mary; three sons, Howard and Clark of East Leroy and Donald of Milwaukee, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. in. Saturday from the Spencer funeral home in Athens with the Rev. A. W. Wallis of Burlington and the Rev. Levant R. Wheaton in charge. Burial will be in the Leroy Congregational cemetery.

BiographyHe was a salesman for Koening and for Rex Chain Belt Company and later manager of heavy equipment at A.O. Smith. He bought the Rio Pump Co. in Grafton, Wisconsin from a friend and during World War II he had many war contracts. Marjorie worked with him as secretary. Donald was always called Don. They first lived on 44th St. in Milwaukee and for many years in Shorewood, a suburb of Milwaukee, at 3838 N. Frederick Ave.. Don and Marjorie had three children. All three children attended Atwater Grade School and Shorewood High School were they all graduated. After Bob Houghton retired, he and Marjorie moved to a small town north of
Milwaukee, Belgium, Wisconsin, and lived at 410 Antoine Drive. They celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary in 19674

GEORGE HOUGHTON, Funeral Held at Shabonna M. E. Church Friday Morning

The funeral of George Houghton, aged 66 years, was held at the Shabonna M. E. church Friday morning and the remains were brought to Cass City and intered in the Elkland cemetery. Rev. Wilmot Moore had charge of the services.

Mr. Houghton was born in England. At the age of 39 years, he went to Canada where he lived three years and then moved to Michigan. He was ill but a few days and his death which occurred on March 7, at his home 4 miles east and 1 mile south of Shabonna, was due to paralysis.

He is survived by his companion, a sister, and six sons. All the sons were present at the funeral services except one, who resides in Canada.
