Obituary

Mary A. Haughton Curtis November 1896 on Sat, 31 Oct 1998 Dunn County News, Dunn County, WI Spring Brook (Received too late for last week.) On Sunday morning Nov. 1,at the home of her son Hiram Curtis, at Fall City, Mrs. Mary A. Curtis passed peacefully away. Her death after a long illness, was the result ofinjuries received from a fall. In the presence of her loved ones the record of her long and useful life was finished, at the age of 86 years.The funeral services were held in the M. E. Church at Waneka, Monday, at3 P.M. Rev. Beeks delivered a very impressive discourse over the departed. The casket was covered with flowers contributed by sympathizing friends. Also, on the same day in the morning, and at the same place, funeral services were held over the remains of Mr. and Mrs. Ludvigson's daughter, Josie, the great grand-daughter of Mrs. Curtis, who died Saturday evening. Rev. Beeks officiating. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of their many friends in the loss of their loved ones. Her death resulted from an attack of diptheria.
